His work focuses on research and often investigates environments and events connected to the history of the production of knowledge.
Through the collection and translation of facts and artefacts, their appropriation and recontextualization, he aims at showing the governmental structures of these systems.
He believes in the relevance of the practice of artists who work with cultural archives and the possibility to activate objects in a way that can politicize them, through a direct connection to current issues.
At the heart of his research is an important investigation on collectionism and historical dutch colonialism.
