4 creators will be selected through the evaluation of the 4 best proposals.
The results will be published on the Zona Franca and Occupy the kitchen! websites by August 31st and the selected creators will be contacted by e-mail.
Performances will be planned (according to the availability of the artists) within the Occupy the kitchen! vol. 2 calendar, which will be from September 2018 to June 2019. The selected artists will join a week of residency with the forementioned benefits and finally will be asked to act the performance at Zona Franca, Varese (on a date to be agreed with the management team). The performances will take place every two months.

Exclusion
Each false or incomplete declaration will lead to the immediate exclusion of the artist. Any projects presented after the deadline, presented partially, or in contrast with any rules of this project are to be considered invalid. The artists are also invited not to contact any members of the Judge panel directly, as this could lead to their immediate exclusion.

The board of professionals who will select the artists is composed of the following jurors:
_Alfred Agostinelli / photographer, visual artist and contributing writer;
_Filippo Bonomi / cook;
_Franca Formenti / [food] artivist;
_Monika Kostera / professor and writer, author of “Occupy Management!”;
_Evelyn Leveghi / relational designer, Food Studies indie researcher;
_Stefano Liberti / journalist, reporter, filmmaker and writer, author of “I signori del cibo” and “Land grabbing”;
_Alice Pasin / landscape architect, seedsaver, farmer;
_Luca Rossi / cook;
_Michele Angelo Rugo / surgeon, psychiatrist, psychoanalist, eating disorder specialist, Philoshopy degree;
_Francesca Sironi / investigative journalist (L’Espresso);
_Oliver Vodeb / extradisciplinary designer, researcher, writer, educator, curator, Memefest and Lipstick + Bread director.
The judge panel reserves the possibility to consult other professionals who are experts in art, economics, food and nutrition, food studies, sociology, anthropology, design, communication.

/ SELEZIONE E GIURIA
Verranno selezionati 4 creators attraverso la decretazione delle 4 migliori proposte di performance.
Saranno pubblicati i risultati sui siti di Zona Franca e Occupy the kitchen! entro il 31 agosto. Gli artisti selezionati verranno contattati direttamente via e-mail.
Le performance selezionate verranno programmate (anche sulla base della disponibilità dell’artista) a definizione del calendario di Occupy the kitchen! vol. 2, che si svolgerà da settembre 2018 a giugno 2019. Gli artisti selezionati potranno godere di una settimana di residenza con i benefit sopraccitati e saranno infine chiamati a realizzare le performance presso Zona Franca, a Varese (in data da concordarsi con l’organizzazione). Le performance andranno in scena a cadenza bimestrale.

Esclusione
Ogni dichiarazione falsa o incompleta implica l’esclusione immediata del soggetto proponente dal Bando. Sono da considerarsi esclusi dalla selezione i Progetti non presentati entro il termine previsto, presentati in forma parziale o comunque in contrasto con una qualsiasi regola del presente Bando. I soggetti proponenti sono inoltre invitati a non prendere contatto con i membri della Giuria, pena l’esclusione dal Bando stesso.

_Alice Pasin / architetto paesaggista, seedsaver, contadina;
_Luca Rossi / cuoco;
_Michele Angelo Rugo / psicoanalista, psicoterapeuta, psichiatra specializzato in DCA (Disturbi del Comportamento Alimentare);
_Francesca Sironi / giornalista d’inchiesta (L’Espresso);
_Oliver Vodeb / designer extradisciplinare, ricercatore, scrittore, educatore, curatore, direttore di Memefest e Lipstick+ Bread.
La giuria si riserva la possibilità di consultarsi ed avvalersi del parere di altri professionisti, esperti di arte, economia, alimentazione, scienze gastronomiche, sociologia, antropologia, design, comunicazione.
